We paid a visit to the factory that makes the MI-LIONE series!
Some of the weaving and dyeing for our immensely popular MI-LIONE series is done in Indonesia.
Seven hours by air from Japan, then another three hours by car from Jakarta
The factories are located in Bandung and Purwakarta, which are three hours by car from Indonesia's capital, Jakarta. We visited them to see how our precious products are made somewhere so far away, and meet some of the people involved. We also discussed new products for next year.

The water used for dyeing is drawn from a vast artificial lake.
To help protect the environment, wastewater from dyeing is treated chemically and biologically before being returned to the river, so it is safe.
Young, lively staff
Indonesia has a large population, and the people who work at the factories are also very young and full of energy. And they love photos! They all made V signs when we asked to take their pictures. When we asked them to carry on working, they grinned and posed.
