A high-density material made by combining dry nylon with cotton. The plain weave fabric looks a little weft-faced because the cotton is thicker than the nylon. The nylon shows the accent color with characteristic clearness. The fabric is tumbled to relax the fibers and give it moderate firmness and nylon's unique embossed look. It can also be garment washed to enhance the casual look.

What is bare ponte?
The DUALWARM series offers two types of ponte: bare ponte and moist ponte. The differences between them lie in the gauge and how the polyurethane is woven into the fabric. For bare ponte, the polyurethane is not twisted around another yarn, but woven into the fabric on its own. This kind of weaving can only be done with special equipment. It maximizes the stretch of polyurethane, resulting in a compact, hard texture.
